Quantitative Researcher
Comp: Base + Bonus + P&L
Location: SF
Braeswood’s quantitative researchers invent and implement trading strategies for environmental markets ranging from financial transmission rights to physical power and environmental commodities. In addition, they collaborate with Braeswood’s investment & trading teams to develop execution systems and portfolio construction/risk management tools.
Skills: data science, statistics, market microstructure,
Experience: PhD in statistics/comp sci, prior quantitative research roles
Braeswood’s VP of finance will be our initial finance hire responsible for overseeing and scaling financial operations (ranging from OMS/PMS to accounting, tax and audit) for all of Braeswood’s entities (including funds, gp/manco and various entities including specialized entities for power trading). Applicants should have some coding knowledge and an interest in automating processes.

Experience: 2-3 years at Big 4 (or equivalent), 1-2 years at investment firm
